Victoria Hoffman, a highly accomplished and versatile musician, is a classically trained oboist from the Memphis area. Her unwavering dedication to music and impressive achievements have solidified her position as a respected figure in the local classical music community. Victoria holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Education with a concentration in Instrumental Music K-12, a Bachelor of Music with a concentration in Oboe Performance, and a Master of Music with a concentration in Oboe Performance degree, all from the University of Memphis. Victoria's primary oboe teacher was Dr. Michelle Vigneau. During her time at the University of Memphis, she was a summer repair intern at the world renowned Interlochen Center for the Arts from 2017 to 2020 where she apprenticed with a full shop of technicians. These technicians include Heidi Chisholm based in Yonkers, NY, Ann MacMillan based in Denton, TX, Nathan Sielbeck based in Kalamazoo, MI, Rick Schoenknecht based in Pennsylvania, and Mark Schwartz based in Flint, Michigan. In January 2020, Victoria began working for Memphis Shelby County Schools as a full time band repair technician where she serviced woodwind, brass, and percussion instruments until she began Bluff City Music Repair in April 2023.

Victoria currently services the music repair needs of Memphis and its surrounding areas while serving as an assistant band director for Houston High School and maintains a sizeable oboe studio.
